I take her for a drive with coffee in our hands.
I close the window so she could light a cigarette
and do my best to try to understand.
But those times are lost and over.
For my little girl she found another man.
And even though I don’t get to see her,

Now the nights seem a little colder.
When I strum the strings, of my only friend.
I take a sip so it’ll pull me over, and help me out to pretend.
